Welcome Customer

The Sound and Communications Industry is one of the fastest growing areas of the economy. The industry (sometimes called voice data video or low-voltage) covers a number of disciplines:
  • Voice, Video Conferencing, and Web Streaming
  • Local Area Networks
  • Audio/Video and Presentation Systems
  • Fiber Optics
  • Enterprise Security Systems
  • Telephone Systems
  • Access Control
  • Fire/Life Safety
  • Sound and Public Address Systems
  • CCTV

If you have a job or project in one of these areas, we encourage you to call one of the NECA contractors listed in our directory. There are over 130 signatory contractors in Northern California. Union contractors are members of the National Electrical Contractor Association (NECA) and employ union workers from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).

Why should customers care whether they use a NECA contractor or not? There are many reasons, but probably the most important is the critical nature of training. Most Sound and Communications projects are highly technical. Many involve new technologies and a complete systems integration. Many of our own customers don’t realize that union workers within the Sound and Communications Industry are better trained than non-union workers. A well trained workforce is more likely to get a complex job done right the first time.

For this reasons, and many others, we urge you to choose a NECA contractor for your Sound and Communications projects. There are over 130 signatory contractors in Northern California. Directory.
